As 2016 comes to a close, it marks the end to the 12th year for Big City Moms. Our 12th year brought so many incredible things for us. This amazing Big City Moms community is why we continue on year after year. We are so thankful for each and every one of you. It’s you that have made this year one that was not only spectacular, but one we will always remember. Let’s take a look back and see what amazing things happened for us in 2016.
The Biggest Baby Shower Ever is one of our favorite events throughout the year. We love meeting new and soon-to-be “Big City Moms” (and dads.) This year, our Biggest Baby Shower Ever showed up all over the country. We loved meeting over 5,000 new and expectant parents in Miami, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Boston, and New York City! And the Biggest Baby Shower Ever wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible team of notable speakers and brands that continue to share their invaluable knowledge with us. We love being able to see all of your new gear and hear those tidbits of advice and support that you show us to help us along our pregnancy and parenting journey.
And just when we thought 2016 was big, we’re going even bigger in 2017. That’s right, our Biggest Baby Shower Ever will be in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Washington D.C., New York City, Boston, and Chicago!
While we couldn’t get to each and every one of you while we traveled across the country, and we wish we could have personally said hello, we always love being able to virtually say hi online! Each year our social media community grows and we are constantly amazed by the people that we interact with. Hearing from you everyday makes our job so much more exciting. Knowing we have your support from all across the country gives us the inspiration we need to make Big City Moms grow into something bigger and better!
This year was BIG for our Big City Moms Blog as we now have a team of writers that share their journeys though pregnancy and parenthood with us. From funny parenting moments to heartfelt tales that we can all relate to, it’s these stories that make parenthood just a little bit easier and help us breathe a sigh of relief. We’ve got big plans for BigCityMoms.com in 2017 as we are launching our BRAND NEW website next month! Not only will it be filled with amazing content from our writers, but it will also be your place to go for any and all information you need on baby gear. You’ll find information, reviews, videos, and demos on all of the latest and greatest in baby gear!
As this year of Big City Moms comes to a close, we want to thank those that are most important to us – YOU! We could have never imagined how much of an impact you could have on our lives. But now, 12 years later, we have you to thank for changing our lives for the better. When you come to our Expectant Events, Biggest Baby Showers, New Mom Support Groups, and even chat with us online looking for support and knowledge to help you on your upcoming endeavor as new parents, but what you don’t realize is that you are helping us become better parents as well. And for that, we are forever grateful.
