Jody Che's international experiences can be seen in her storied and colorful upbringing. Born and raised in Singapore, her later teenage years were spent in the US, where she went to boarding school and college, and she has traveled all over the world gathering inspiration and cultural experiences. She has a BA in International Relations and Global Business from the University of Southern California (USC), and built her earlier career in the fashion industry in PR and marketing. When she became a mother to her daughter Olive, she decided to focus her energies on motherhood and sharing her stories as a new mother with her growing audience at My Baby Olive Juice. Besides running the popular blog, she also contributes to celebrity wedding planner Beth Helmstetter's blog, and founded the Pasadena Moms & Babies group in Pasadena, CA which has recently reached 1,000 members.
I’ve been thinking about my marriage a lot lately.
My husband and I have been together for almost a decade: We met in our twenties, have been married for four years, and for the past year and a half, have been new parents.
Maybe I was just naive, but I didn’t realize how much having a baby would change our relationship. Until recently, I was under the assumption that our marriage would always be ‘business as usual’ – that we would always be the best of friends, no matter what.
