John Brandon is the Co-Founder and CEO of MyManny. He is known internationally for co-founding his first company, NYC Mannies, in 2013. John has been interviewed on CNN International, Good Morning America, ITV (UK), as well as numerous other news outlets and major publications around the world. Having worked for years as a manny, John brings a unique perspective and passion to the childcare industry. He is a published writer on the subject of caregiving and mentorship. Having grown up without a father, he understands the need for kids to have positive role models in their lives and is committed to connecting families with the best possible care for their kids. John is a graduate of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey and The McCallie School in his hometown of Chattanooga, TN.

I always get asked the same questions. What made you start a manny agency? What can male nannies do that females can’t? What are the misconceptions surrounding men hanging out with kids? I do my best to answer these questions to the best of my ability in order to get our message across about the benefits of having a male caregiver. I knew I was starting an agency that would raise a lot of eyebrows, but the response has been extremely positive.
