Originally from NYC, Dr Lisa did her internship and residency at Children’s Hospital LA making Los Angeles her forever home. She spent a year at UCLA doing a clinical fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology before leaving academic medicine to join Harvey Karp,MD in the little house on Pier Ave. Five years later, they merged with Tenth Street Pediatrics where she is now a partner and remains in full-time private practice. Dr. Lisa loves seeing the breadth of pediatrics from newborns through to college graduates. At the office she engages children in conversations of what it means to have a healthy, balanced lifestyle and is a walking encyclopedia of wacky home remedies. Lisa is involved in Planned Parenthood and Wolf Connection, an organization which uses wolf dogs to rehabilitate troubled youth. She has 2 adult daughters, loves to ski, has recently started to garden and has a part-time job teaching little girls how to ride 2-wheel bicycles.
